Hello all ,first post here. I have an 08 Ram 1500 and i just replaced the stock stereo (no amp non infinity) with a Kenwood kiv bt900 with a bypass harness from Scosche. It is a very nice unit but iI am having problems with it. While driving after about a half an hour with the windows open the sound will cut out and get static. It usally happens when I slow down or whack the throtle. With the windows closed I havent had it hapen. This is the second head unit and second bypass and I still ahve the same problem. Is there a factory amp in the truck?? Mabey a bad interface with the cam bus?? Is there a microphone speed sensor (some cadilacs have them)??? Any ideas??? Thanks in advance if someone can help!
Hi Chris--I can't help you out with this but you live in N. Plainfield and Zippo's is on Rt 22 East about a 1/4 mile past K Mart--they're pretty good there--
