What a great day we had yesterday! The weather was absolutly B-E-A -utiful, (a little hot at times) for "freak'n March considering we just had 4ft of snow down here just a couple of weeks ago. Not to mention last year at this event we were all freezing and wet because it was raining on and off. MOPAR'S definatly made their presance. It was even anounced how we even dominated in #'s of the Corvette challenge guy's.(NICE!!!) The majority always being the LX forums guys but we had a few of our own out also. Jeff brought the "HWYSTAR" Challenger out for the first time......(we'll just leave it at that...first time out and all!!!!) LOL!!! Just kidding pal driving a 6sp and it being your first time you did just fine. Like i said you, me and Tony will come out on a Friday night and practice some more and you will get that beast where she should be. HemibeeSteve was there as always with trusted pit crew Dillan, but was put back in the pits after first round by "yours truly" with a ".025" reaction time. Sorry buddy but that made my day!!! Greg Green came out with his "Monster Stage 3" Yellow Daytona, was doing well also until was too low on fuel and launched 3rd round and car started shutting down but then took off in 2nd once the nose came down.(My boy was not fit to be around after that!!!!) and rightfuly so! I made it to the semi-finals and then broke out with a 14.049 with a dial in of 14.10 against Dave Coil of New Hampshire with his NOS rigged Magnum of a 10.73 with a dial in of 10.75. The shame of it is, "I had him and even lifted at the end but like he even said if I had tapped the brakes just before the line I would of won."That's Dave nothing like pouring salt into an open wound!" I can't complain though I went to the track with out Drag radials or even swap'n out those heavy ass Foose wheels and putting the stock RSA's back on. It was a "Come as you are, Run what you brung kind of day!" It was funny though, the first two qualifing runs the car ran 14.250,14.150. Then ran 14.248 first round ,2nd 13.95,(thank god for redlights and breakouts buy other drivers) 3rd, 13.85, 4th 15 something because otherside redlit and I coasted. The hotter it got in the day the fast time I was getting. I guess the track was just getting stickier and getting more traction . All in all it was a great day and had a great conversation with Michelle in the trophy shack about building the Modern Mopar Events even bigger. I will be posting a whole list of track events for all of you that are interested.

Was a good day yesterday guys, and was good to see some of you again. Like greg said he ended my day with a hell of a light (.035) The worst thing about it was i dialed in at 12.20 and ran a freakin 12.21 and still lost! i didn't help my cause by gettin a .201 light on the run, i just could'nt make up for that bad of a light. Oh and that's it greg no more mister nice guy with you LMAO!!!!
