Just spoke with Josh today from HHP and he was telling me about the new "Unlimited Class" that will be running at E-Town events. Which means anyone with a 6cyl can now run in the series race's. Before it was just open to Hemi's but now anyone with a late model mopar can have a class to run in. So Deena , Russ & Abby hope to see you down at the series race someday. Next one is this Saturday 24th. Gates open at 9. It is also on the events page to sign up.
I'm confused. The HHP points series races were always handicapped races and always allowed v6 cars to run. What's changed?
I've never heard of a Hemi only class at these events. Any links to rules, etc.?
Maybe there there doesnt need to be Handicapping now,where a V6 can run against a V6 in the same class??? Were V6's able to race other V6's without Handicapping??

Please do chime in. I am just repeating what I was told by Josh from HHP. I am asuming that all V6's will be running against each other, but will find out more info this Sat. at the event. Here is a break down of the new classes for the HHP RACING MODERN MOPAR DRAGS PRESENTED BY DIABLOSPORT: Pro Torque Pentastar Bracket presented by Shippen Auto Repair-Qualifying Vehicles-An unlimited ALL LX,LC, Jeep,Ram,Liberty,Viper or other late model Chrysler vehicle 1990 and up,all 4cyl - 10 cyl cars. Bracket style racing using sportsman tree. 2 time trials,no clean up runs. Racers must comply w/all NHRA rules. AWARDS: Winner-$150 & trophy, Runner-up $75&trophy, First round winners-plaque. Payout based on 16 car field. Kooks Long Tube Headers Hemi Bracket presented by Corsa Performace-Qualifying Vehicle-Any LX,LC,Jeep or Ram w/a base 3rd Gen Hemi Engine ONLY(NO V6 CARS) Braket style racing w/ sportsman tree. 2time trials, no clean up runs.Racers must comply w/ all NHRA rules. AWARDS: Winner-$150&trophy,Runner-up-$75&trophy,Semi's-$35&trophy, first round-plaque. Payout based on 16 car field. Pro Charger Quick X presented by Fore Precision-Quickest 3rd Gen Hemi based vehicles in the field of Modern Mopar racing that day. Heads-up racing using a .500 Pro Tree. 2Qualifiers,qualified quickest and slowest, no clean up runs. All Quick X racers that do not qualify for the Quick X eliminator may compete in the Pentastar Bracket. Racers must comly w/ all NHRA rules. AWARDS: Winner-$100&trophy, Runner-up-$50&trophy, First round winners-plaque. Payout is based on 8 car field.
