Hey everyone, sorry for being out of the loop here for awhile, been doing alot of catch up at work for time I was out after the "Maple Grove Incident". There is a track event coming up July 25th @ Englishtown. HHP Series Points Race. I will post it up on the events page for all that want to attend. I unfortuantly have my sister-in-laws wedding that saturday and won't be able to make it. (Service isn't until 4:15????? Maybe be there afterall!! ) (If the wife dosen't kill me!!!LOL) The way I have been going lately anyway....I'll be done by 1st or 2nd round......breakout or redlight , so I will need someone (Deena...faithful track goer) to report for me if anyone made it to finals etc.

Great!  Now I can finally take my car and see what she can do at the track.  I've been waiting for one of these days to come up for a while...   Hey Deena!  I might just let you take my car out for a few runs if you come along

LOL I dunno if Dee is going to make it there fast enough to race in the series.

I'll be there.  I'm sitting 7th in the points right now with the win at the Mopar Nationals.  Gotta repeat it again and keep the dream alive!

Tony , I'm pretty sure you already know this but I've already sent my $20 registration fee in for the 10th annual classic car show at the Ship bottom waterfront park that day ...and I just found out that there are 2 different trophies that apply to our newer cars.....trophies for 1st,2nd,3rd place muscle cars and for most members attending  from a single club......so I hope you still race my Challenger some time soon for me?

Have fun which ever way you go.....Wayne.....aka....LOCOMOTION

Wayne, I'm probably not making either event this Saturday. This college job I'm working on has a hard deadline of August 1st and I need every available moment to make sure it gets done. What with playing hookey this past weekend to go to Carlisle and the Meadowlands on Sunday, I really fell behind on this job. I may sneak out Saturday afternoon to go to Chic fila but even that is a looooong shot at this point.

You know what, you're right it is next Saturday, lol. I had my dates mixed up again. Maybe I can make it then. We'll see. If Maria finds out I raced the car, she she'd kill me plus, I sold my drag rims to Gregg so if I go it will be to spectate and pit crew only.

I can't afford to make the trip or the event. I'm out. This is a bad time of the month for me financially. Car payment & insurance are due.

It was a great day Saturday! Hot but a great day none the less. Don't know what the hell was going on with Track personell, the gates didn't open until after 9:30 which really sucked considering me, hemibeesteve, and a few others from the LX Forums were there at 7:30. I wasn't real happy the way my car was running, couldn't get out of the 13.90's (No drag radials this race) Steve was not to happy with his Crew Chief (son) Dillian who said to dial in at 12.50...Steve broke out with a 12.48 first round (Dillian had to hear crap all day) Hey I look at it this way "Who's the one with the driver's licence here?" Always knock'n down the little man! LOL! Buy the way hope my buddy there didn't come home with too much sun burn and MaMa "Raise Hell". I did start to feel a little better about myself when I dialed in a 13.89 and won first round against Dan form NY with his bad ass Nos injected, roll barred, monster SRT. He thought I was breaking out and didn't hit the spray but just hit a good light .021 and stood on it down the track and came in with a 13.91. How I won is still a mystery to me but if there was an incar cam you would have thought I just won the US Nationals! There were 7 different events going on and the time between rounds was ridiculas. By the time they got the quick 8 done and got to round 2 it was almost 2:30-2:45. I had to leave at 3 to go to my sisterinlaws wedding (Ohh Yippie)(A verzion of My Big Redneck Wedding) I am not kidding! I can't belive I had to leave the track and go to the "Deliverance Wedding" So I ended up blowing 2nd round with a red light handing the win to New Hampshire Dave with his Monster Nos Methanol wagon.......Not like I would have won anyway! So why make him heat up the car for the next round. Even if by some act of God that I had won I would of had to leave and forfit next round anyway.Kicking DirtHope all that came out had a great time and made it home safe see you guys next race.

Was a fine time as usually, any day of racing when you don't break something is a fine time. As far as my crew cheif, I forgave him about the dial in about halfway home from the track LOL!!!!he lobbyed his way into makin me fell it was the right dial in as he went through all my time skips on the way home and their was only one sub 12.50 run and that was the run in the first round so he made his point. was good to see ya greg and hope more can come out next month!

I couldn't even make it since I was posted to work on that saturday... When I got out it was already 1:00 and by the time I would get down their it would've been 3:00ish..  I hope they do have another one since I would really like to see how fast my car can get down the track.. If it's held next month thats great since I ordered my cam and going to get it installed by then..  can't wait!!

Wow! this thread's been dead for a while, guess i'll give it a bump. Not sure how many of you guys have been doing the HHP Points Series but I'm heading up there in a few hours once I get some more sleep. I don't usually get Saturdays off so this is a special occasion for me now that my car's gotten a bunch new mods. Hope to see some of you guys there.
