Well I ran out of my warranty in December so i've been looking into power adders for the hemi...well after months of going back and forth between Naturally Aspirated power or Forced Induction i settled. Earlier today...well march 1st i dropped by my favorite shop, Krazy House Customs and ordered an SMS 296 Twin Screw Supercharger!!!! I was planning on waiting until our next meet (have to be mod weekend since bowling is too soon to have it done by) to show you guys but i'm horrible with secrets and just way to excited to keep my mouth shut :D

I'm aiming for something between 500-525 rwhp when i get it tuned, but keeping in mind that my engine will be staying stock so not to over do it on the boost. I'm pretty sure I'll be the worlds first Charger to have this SC, its the exact same one put on the Challenger 570 and 570X cars so I'm pretty sure i made a good choice. I'm also looking into doing a '09 chally rear end swap so i can switch out my stock (and somewhat weak) 215MM half shafts for the stronger 226MM ones (ive heard people have put them to 540rwtq on radials without breaking any) along with their LSD.

I actually got a call from the shop a couple hours after i left informing me that SMS had already shipped the SC out to me so it wont be too long till it is here and we can bolt it on and get tuning on Krazy Houses mustang dyno :) I think we'll have a street tune as well as a track/race fuel tune

Ah I'm so excited! Just wanted to tell you guys since i know you guys understand, i tried sharing my excitement with my non-car-buff friends and they were kinda like...whoop-de-doo? Is it really a big deal? a car is a car right? hahaha

Thanks everyone!

so heres a little update...my gauges are here, some brackets and accessories for the SC are here, i'm expecting the actual unit to get here any day now. I'll be dropping by the shop to see what status of it is tomorrow. Once it is here I'm told that it'll take 2 days to put it on and custom tune it to make sure there are no kinks. I've also decided on getting a 2009 challenger rear end swapped in for my current one, not sure how long that will take to get here.

there area few more goodies i pulled the trigger on, some show stuff, well a lot of show stuff but ill just wait to show it to you guys :-)

Still thinking on getting a stage 2 valve body for the transmission, dont want it crapping out on me too early (its inevitable i know but im hoping) also when it comes to power i've been convinced to not over do it...so depending on what the numbers are i'll be going for 500 or less...or max 7 PSI of boost...which ever comes first

If only it wasnt raining so much this week, im trying to get as much fun out of my current set up before i have to relearn to drive with the new one, ah so excited :D
