I just want to know if I have to absoutly  need the 180 stat?  I wont be messing around with the tunes since I have no idea what I would be doing so what ever tune it comes with I am happy with.  In the future ( cash flow permitted ) I would like to get more out of her but thats way i the future.

Orlando, the predator comes with several canned tunes.  The one you choose depends upon what upgrades you are currently running. For instance, there is a canned tune for completely stock using 91 octane fuel and another for 93 octane fuel. There is also a canned tune for use with a cold air  kit again, with the use of 91 or 93 octane fuel depending upon which fuel you run. Within each canned tune, there are a few things you as the user can adjust to your liking. For example, there's a feature to raise your shift points, raise the rev limiter, set your tire size, etc. As far as the thermostat is concerned, it is not required to run a 180* thermostat with a predator tune. You have the ability within the canned tunes (or custom tunes) to set your desired fan speed temp settings. I would check them with the tool to make sure they are matched to your current thermostat. If they are set too low for your thermostat, they will run too often and eventualy burn out the fan motor. If you need any help setting it up, give me a ring. I'll hook you up right. Just ask Stan, hehe.

I just finally pulled the trigger on the predator this morning!  I got it in the package which includes the predator, interface kit, and 180 degree t-stat for $319 shipped.  For those who have the 180 degree t-stats, what exactly does it do performance wise for the car??

Borla Cat Back System, Airaid CAI with hood scoop, 3M Clear Bra, Predator 93 CAI tune, AAC Halo's, Red LED grill Lights, SRT Windshield Decal, SRT premium floor mats and trunk mats, 35% tints on the fronts, with 20% on the rear, Escort Passport 8500 x50 Radar Detector w/ invisicord to mirror

Any of you guys with a sound system in your ride and have the predator.  Did you disconnect your amps and aftermarket HU before downloading the Pred?
