I finally got the car back last night. The base tune from Johan was a bit rich on the low rpm's but wot was dead on at WOT 0 st/lt knock. After just 1 revision to the lower rpm's and the shifts the car "really" woke up. The headers gave the car a whole new sound Now it feels like I had something done. Ill post final results once Johan finishes up with the tune which wont be long at all, so far so good

How did Johan do a tune for you? was it an email tune or did you meet him somewhere? I'm still searching for a good tuner to redo my setup but don't want an email situation or a "maybe" good tune. I already paid for 2 of those and got hosed both times.

Johan did it through email. Hes very good at what he does and real easy to work with. Also he works off of donations, they range anywhere from $100-$700. He had my car nailed down with 1 revision. But there is a slight surge at very light throttle, I have to log it and send it out to him.

hehe
How do you like it so far after having it for a few months? The CJ is really strong down low. We have sold a ton of them for the Hemi Rams which of course need a kick in the rear to get them off the line. Johan does a great job on tuning via email (and of course in person as well).

Where in NJ are you located?

So far I love it, suprisingly for a low end cam it also pulls real hard right up to the shift points. Im located in Hillsborough.

That is cool. Perhaps we can use that shop as an authorized/recommended installer for NJ as well.

Is his shop a car repair shop and he does this sort of stuff as well or what is his set up? You can't have too many options and the fact he has at least one succesful Hemi cam install under his belt is a huge plus. Many shops have never done it.

Yep, all set up on FB. This is the page which I manage: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000872034478#!/pages/Inertia-Motorsports/125118577533649

Feel free to "like" or become friends with Inertia Motorsports and keep track of developments or follow general stuff on the page like videos, or me bitching about the NJ weather haha

He is a repair shop, 4x4 specialty, performance, machine shop. Basically he does it all. He has 2 lifts and room for 1-2 more cars inside. Actually I was his first new hemi, and he did just fine after a little bitchin and moaning. Google toms machine shop in avenel.

Im already friends with inertia on FB, keep an eye out for me Danny Matthias
