About 2 weeks ago I started hearing a noise from my driver side front. Sounded kind of like a creeky bed and was getting worse by the day. Turns out is was the front sway bar bushings. Becasue they are so close to the cats they get very hot and dry out. Just pulled the bushings this morning and re-greased them and the noise is gone. Make sure to use synthetic grease like Valvoline SynGrease. Petroleum based grease will eat away at the rubber. Here is a link to the general procedure.

Both should have an aluminun reflective heat shield on the surface of the bushing mount.
