Can anyone recommend a brake pad installer in the S.J. area (near Philly). I want to swap out my OE pads with some that will leave less dust (tired of cleaning rims after EVERY ride). Stinks because OE pads only have 4k miles. I think I am going with GRANSPORT GS-6 CARBON CERAMIC PERFORMANCE PAD SETS (any objections?). i just need them swapped. I do not have the set up to do them myself. Thanks!!!
They're actually real easy to do yourself with virtually no special tools required. If you can wait until mod weekend, bring them here and I can help you do them. I've done so many brake jobs on LX cars, I feel like a dealership, LOL.
Hey Chris--"Mod Weekend" starts on April 10th--if you can wait till then you can install them there--last year at "Mod Weekend" there were a # of us doing brakes--Tony (HEMI in Bayville) and Maria (Maria Andretti) are the hosts that weekend and opens their garage/house so we can get together and work on our rides--help each other out--most of all have a great time with your fellow members--Tony has tools--air compressor--floor jacks & stands--other members brings extra tools like floor jacks--jack stands--wrenches--etc...etc also--last year we had 24 Mopars on Sat. and 23 on Sun.--and everyone got their mods done--
just a thought Chris--also this would be a great way of meeting your fellow members--
I just posted this and saw that Tony has already posted about this--(I type slow)--

Thanks for all the replies. Mod weekend sounds interesting. Any photos from last year?

But if you need a shop check out Integrity Automotive in Williamstown NJ. They are real good and do all the major work on my chevy. The owner owns a sweet custom painted Magnum RT too!!
Joe
pics should be in the "PHOTOS" page--look for "MOD WEEKEND"
Here's a link to the pics in case you have trouble finding them. http://njmopargroup.com/Photos/tabid/...
You should plan to be here. I for one, never had more fun that that weekend. We tackled more projects in a 2 day period (ok, 3 day, lol) than anyone ever thought we could and we got them all done and everyone was able to drive home. (with the exception of Bluebee). He had an issue with his ccfl's and we had to store the car here for a few days until the problems could be worked out. No worries though, the crew was right back at it the following weekend finishing up his install in time for our annual Hooters event!
