We are pleased that you have chosen to become a member of the NJ Mopar Group™, Mopar Owner and Enthusiasts Club of New Jersey.  We would like to make your membership enjoyable and your attendance at group events comfortable for you.  Club officers can answer any questions or concerns you may have.  Below, we have listed our Rules and Regulations to make everyone's stay more enjoyable.

RULES

1) The NJ Mopar Group™ is a privately held, non profit organization that operates in New Jersey.  Membership is free but paid memberships are available that provide greater benefits.  Because the NJ Mopar Group's membership is free, this means that the NJ Mopar Group™ has the right to deny or cancel membership of any member it deems in violation of the Rules and Regulations listed herein without refunding any donations or contributions made to the club.

2) Members must be of legal driving age within NJ.  Members under the age of 17 are not permitted.

3) NJ Mopar Group™ Members will not and do not discriminate against anyone for race, or beliefs.

4) Member should not and will not put themselves above another.  Members are all considered equal.

5) All members must attend at least one NJMG event per 6 month period which results in two events per year.  Members who do not meet this qualification will not be eligable to receive goods that the NJMG sponsors or members may provide for us or to particpate in special events.

6) Everyone who intends to attend an event is expected to help and work together for that event.  There are certain members who are in charge of event organization, but here we are a team.  This means setting up, representing the club to the public and cleanup.

7) Members should not discuss NJMG business with non-members at any time.

8) Club officers should not discuss club business with members unless authorized by the club president.

9) Members in the NJMG are given a position within the club either based on election to that position or on your participation.  These Positions are listed next to a member on the Members List Page.

10) All new Club Members will be on a 30-day probationary period.  If the member has not signed into the site, participated in the forums or filled out their profile, they will be unregistered from the club, thus loosing their membership.  New members cannot receive free goods from the NJMG provided by our vendors or sponsors.  New members are also prohibited from posting in the Classifieds section on the site.  This prevents people from simply advertising and not participating.

11) Any member who doesn't particpate in the Forums, Shows or meetings for a period of 30 days or greater will be demoted from Participating Member to Member this is indicated on the Member List Page.  At 30 days of non-participation, a member looses the right to receive free goods or post in the Classifieds Area of the Forums.  At 180 days of non-participation, a member will receive a communication of 180 days non-participation.  This member will have 20 days to begin to participate in a show, the website or both.  If the member has not participated within 20 days of the 180 day notice, the users account will be locked and another notification will be sent.  A Member can unlock an account only by contacting the Membership Manager.  If a locked account remains locked for 20 days (220 days of non-participation), the user's account will be deleted.  If a member signs back up on the site after a 220 day dismissal, the management reserves the right to dismiss the member again.

12) The NJ Mopar Group™ has very strict guidelines regarding advertising on our website.  This is to protect the sponsors, vendors and supporting members who donate to keep the club growing. Management reserves the right to delete or edit any forum posts that contain extensive advertising for non sponsoring member or corporations.  Management also reserves the right to edit signatures, hide websites in member profiles or to request members to change their username if we feel it contains words that can be construed as advertising or links to websites or business.  If a member is interested in becoming a supporting sponsor, vendor or supporting member, they may contact the Sales Manager, Sponsor Manager or send an email to Sponsorship@NJMoparGroup.com.

Anyone inquiring about the club must be serious about joining and participating (please do not join just to say you are in a car club).  We are an active car club and not just another forum.

ETIQUETTE

1) Consideration and polite behavior are essential in order to ensure the enjoyment of the forums and events attended by the NJMG.  Please err on the side of consideration, at this eliminates any doubts.

2) Please refrain from using foul or abusive language in the Forums or at Events as their may be children present.

3) Anyone caught uploading abusive, sexual or pornographic photos to the gallery will immediately have their account suspended for 30 days and will not be eligable for NJMG giveaway for 90 days.

4) Please welcome new members.  Membership is vital to the longevity of this club.  We want new members to feel welcome.

5) Treat the public with respect.  Many times we are approached at shows to answer questions regarding our cars or automotive questions in general.  No question is a dumb question.  Please be friendly when addressing a question.  If you do not know the answer, see if a fellow NJMG member does.

6) Treat other show members with respect.  Sure, you always thought that year of whatever, was a piece of junk.  The owner probably doesn't agree with you.  There is no reason to denigrate his/her choice in their show car.
